Detailed Product Description
BRT020 is made with high quality PET & butyl rubber attached on aluminum sheet. This strong adhesion, high elastic single side butyl tape is highly use on seal or repair wide range of surfaces such as corrugated roofing, automobiles parts, leaks in caravans, down pipes, and other necessities. Chemical offers butyl tape in different width, length, and thickness to provide an easy seaming application, and economy solution for high technical construction.
Product Feature:
1. High Elasticity provides resistance to shocks, movements, and weather forces.
2. Flexible & Versatile for easy adjustment before, during and after application.
3. Excellent Adhesion, yet easy to peal off leave surface free from residue.
4. Low-Temperature Resistance prevents sealing tape from cracked or shrink.
5. Anti-Corrosion. Water resistant material prevents the surface to corrode from moisture and steam,
6. Outstanding Durability. Last up to 20 years.
7. Moisture, Oil, Ozone, and Ultraviolet Radiation Resistance
8. Easy to apply, no special tool needed during application
This product is applicable to:
Corrugated roofing seal, repair on leaks for Caravans, and siding joint for automobile, construction, or container frame.
Apply Direction:
1. Select appropriate butyl tape size based on your constructional need.
2. All surfaces to be attached must be free of dust, dirt, oil, and moisture. Apply organic solvent to clean surface if necessary.
3. Apply butyl tape to dry temperature condition between -40C~90C
4. Apply butyl tape to surface directly from roll by pressing through the release paper with a smooth, firm, and even motion.
5. Allow butyl tape to adhere on surface for at least 12 hours. Away from tearing, peeling, and water.
*Apply during dry condition above 40F to avoid weak adhesion due to surface humidity condensation
** This tape designed for airtight waterproofing purpose rather than holding or fixing items. Be sure to use nails, screws, etc., after applying the tape, for permanent fixing.
For Corrugated Roofing Seal:
Apply screw to segment points of single sided butyl tape with aluminum backing sheet to ensure adhesion of sealant.
For Repair on leaks in Caravans and siding joint:
Apply single-sided butyl tape directly on surface that need to be filled to prevent leaks, or panels joint.
